Manchester United supporters have launched a fresh online campaign, #BoycottUnited, urging fans to put pressure on the club’s sponsors and commercial partners as protests against the club’s ownership intensify.
The campaign, which gained momentum between Tuesday and Wednesday, encourages fans to contact companies linked to the club through emails, social media comments and online reviews, with Adidas, Snapdragon, DHL and Coca-Cola among those mentioned.
The latest action marks a new phase in the long-running protests against the Glazer family’s ownership since their 2005 takeover, as some supporters now believe commercial partners can influence the club’s leadership.
Reports said frustrations over United’s poor start to the 2026/27 season and dissatisfaction with the summer transfer window have fueled the renewed campaign.
However, online claims that Snapdragon is planning an emergency meeting or that Adidas is considering ending its partnership with the club have not been confirmed by either company.
For now, #BoycottUnited remains an online fan-driven campaign aimed at making Manchester United’s commercial relationships part of the wider debate over the club’s future and ownership.
