Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Olatunji Rilwan Disu has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers (PROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected commands and formations across the Nigeria Police Force.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu, announced the postings in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja.
He said the deployment is part of the Inspector-General’s efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible police information and deepen engagement with the media and other stakeholders.
According to the statement, SP Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 5 and can be reached on 08038773657.
SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji, anipr, has also been posted as the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 11, Osogbo, and can be reached on 09152481510.
The statement added that DSP Orchia Adndongu has been posted to the Benue State Police Command and can be reached on 07013495466.
DSP Imah Unwana Victor has been deployed to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) and can be reached on 08038281577.
The Nigeria Police said the new postings are expected to improve information management, promote transparency and strengthen communication between the Force and the public as part of ongoing reforms.
