Raphinha has been named La Liga Player of the Month for September, making it two consecutive monthly awards after also winning in August.
The Barcelona winger has enjoyed a sensational start to the season, scoring 12 league goals in just seven matches to lead the scoring chart.
He also produced nine goal contributions in four La Liga games during September, recording seven goals and two assists.
The Brazilian carried his fine form into international duty by assisting a goal against Australia before scoring a penalty in Brazil’s 4-2 victory. However, he was withdrawn from the national team after suffering a minor thigh injury, with medical tests confirming a small muscle oedema.
Raphinha has now returned to Barcelona to recover as he looks to continue his outstanding goalscoring form.
