Kobbie Mainoo has been named Manchester United’s Player of the Month for September after another impressive run of performances.
The club described the 21-year-old midfielder as the “heartbeat” of the team because of his influence in midfield. Mainoo played five matches during the month, started four and provided an assist in United’s 2-2 draw with Everton, while also winning a Player of the Match award.
The academy graduate has already produced several memorable moments for United, including goals in the FA Cup final, against Wolves, Lyon and Liverpool.
His ability to control games, link attacks and deliver in big matches has made him one of the club’s most trusted young stars.
The latest award highlights Mainoo’s growing importance as he continues to establish himself as a key player for Manchester United.
