Matawalle Moves Beyond Zamfara, Tinubu Again Movement Takes Presidential Campaign To the Doorstep

Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle has been working assiduously through the Tinubu Again Movement to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins re election, leading renewed efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for the President’s campaign. The group is moving to extend its political outreach beyond Zamfara State across the North West and other parts of the country.

At a meeting held on Sunday, 25th October, coordinators of the group at ward, local government and state levels unanimously resolved to launch a House to House Campaign, with 6th November, 2026, scheduled for the official flag off.

The initiative is designed to take the campaign directly to households and communities, giving grassroots supporters a platform to engage voters and promote the President’s re election bid ahead of the 2027 general election.

Matawalle’s strategic position in Zamfara politics and his wider northern political connections place him among the figures whose mobilisation efforts could contribute to the group’s ambition of building a coordinated campaign across the North West.

The decision to adopt a house to house approach reflects the group’s determination to move beyond political meetings and public endorsements towards direct community engagement. The structure is expected to rely on ward and local government coordinators to drive the campaign at the grassroots.

For the Tinubu Again Movement, the 6th November flag off will mark the beginning of a more direct mobilisation phase, with its organisers seeking to consolidate support for the President across states and communities.

The success of the initiative will depend on how effectively the group’s structures translate the announcement into sustained grassroots engagement as political activities gather momentum ahead of 2027.
